During the course of the past thirteen years, Peeter Hagen has procured an invaluable experience in the field of consulting in Estonia. Peeter has acted at different times as the project manager, marketing manager and general manager of a consulting company founded by the Local Government Associations. The volume of projects organized within the local governments of Estonia by Peeter during the years is significant.
This includes the preparation of different projects (including international projects), coordination of funding applications, organization of public procurements and project management. In the past years, he has also consulted a considerable number of development projects in the private sector.
Olavi Hiiemäe is an environmentalist to the core. While trying to achieve the balance between nature and man, Olavi has been active in assessing environmental impact during the past 25 years (EIA licence number KMH0101). The major projects worth mentioning, where Olavi has participated as the leading specialist, are for instance the environmental impact assessment (EIA) of the preliminary project of the Kose-Võõbu and Võõbu-Mäo highway section (Tartu-Tallinn-Võru-Luhamaa highway) and the strategic environmental impact assessment (SEIA) of the comprehensive plan of the Lasnamäe Industrial territories.
In addition, the expert assessment to the SEIA of the permanent connection with Saaremaa, EIA of the Lake Tamula reorganisation plan, SEIA of the comprehensive plan of the Ülenurme rural municipality, SEIA of the detailed plan of the Puhkeranna industrial territory etc. In his time outside of impact assessment, Olavi passes his knowledge on to the master’s candidates in the faculties of environmental protection, hydro engineering and landscape architecture at the Estonian University of Life Sciences.
