“A good project manager is a strong team player”
You’ve probably heard the story about how no one really knows what their colleague does for a living, but everyone calls them a project manager.
To implement and manage development ideas and projects it’s necessary to involve a competent workforce. Lawyers are competent at organising procurements; building specialists fill in construction diaries appropriately; accountants are correct in accounting etc. The entire process, from the first day of implementation of the project to the formal ribbon-cutting ceremony on site, is directed and managed by the project manager, who oversees and is responsible for the timely and orderly implementation of the project, drafts the interim and final reports for the financier and keeps the project’s ‘life cycle’ under control.
